The Lutheran Campus Mission Association (LCMA) is a Christian organization affiliated with The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), the second-largest Lutheran body in the United States.
Originally commissioned by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in 2004 to carry on the work of the former national Campus Ministry Office (which had been closed in 2002), LCMA continues in the role of a support organization, now offering training and resources for peer ministry; outreach in campus and other young adult communities; discipleship; and leader development. LCMA is a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod under the Office of National Mission.
We believe the community into which the Holy Spirit has called us in the Body of Christ is our strongest weapon against the challenges to mission and ministry. We are committed to walk together in community with campus ministries, ministry leaders, students, congregations and LCMS districts to find practical, God-pleasing, long-term solutions to today’s challenges.
We invite you to take some time and get to know us—especially through what we say about ourselves and our mission— in our Who we are, What we believe, and What we do sections. Please also feel free to ask us questions.
